VTrans ride-matching software survey

The Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) intends to procure services for online ride-matching (carpool) for the State of Vermont. The anticipated RFP release date is in early August 2016. In advance, VTrans is conducting a survey in order to develop a feasible scope of work that might support application interoperability.

If you have thoughts about ride-matching software and programs, take the survey (response are due by July 19).

VTrans is doing something right. Too often, the same scopes of work are copied from RFP to RFP. Meanwhile, the scope of work gets out-of-step with evolving practice and software innovation. Surveying the industry makes it possible to take into account current state of practice and better anticipate coming innovation.
